Clyde Ford is the President and Founder of Fort Washington Financial, CEO of Triton Corporate Services, Inc., and President of Marque Capital Management. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration-Business Law from California State University Fresno in 1980 and his MBA from the Craig School in 1985. He earned his CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and International Foundation for Employee Benefit Plans, and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst as certified to by the John M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
His work history includes Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Planning at a large pediatric regional Hospital, twenty-nine years working as the Executive Vice President of a technical third-party qualified retirement plan administrator providing services to over 1,200 retirement plans and trusts, and overseeing a staff of 30 dedicated administrators. He has designed, written, and managed more than 1,500 qualified retirement trusts. Today, he and the Fort Washington group serve primarily as plan fiduciaries managing defined contribution and defined benefit assets and as wealth managers for professionals and their staff.
Clyde has served in volunteer leadership positions for a billion dollar per year healthcare national nonprofit, is one of the founders of Triton Flight for Heroes, a non-profit benefiting active-duty military and their dependents, and served on the Board for The Foundation for Clovis Unified School District. Clyde was the past president of the Fresno State Alumni Association, where he served the board for more than twelve years, and continues to serve on the finance and scholarship committee. More recently Clyde is an officer for the USAF Fighter Aviation Stem Thunderbird non-profit startup museum and education center highlighting the USAF Thunderbird Flight Demo Team in Las Vegas.
Ford published The United States Government as a Third-Party Payor: Medicare in 1983, and helped in the effort to oppose the State of California in their intended implementation of Diagnostic Related Group billing for pediatric patients. As a financial planner specializing in retirement asset accumulation and management. To list a few, Clyde has been a speaker many times at the First Mercantile Trust annual 401(k) Summit, The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries 401(k) Conferences, and the 401(k) Exchange Annual Conference. He has been quoted in industry publications such as Investment News and On Wall Street.
