Pierre was born and raised in France and came to the United States at 24 to attend UC Berkeley Graduate Business School, where he graduated with an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
Pierre started his career as a securities analyst with Dolan Capital Management in Palo Alto (John Dolan was President of the Society of Securities Analysts of San Francisco at the time). He then worked in the Management Sciences Department at Wells Fargo headquarters in San Francisco, before moving on to East/West Securities, a minority-owned broker dealer in San Francisco where he was director of International Research (clientele included TIAA-CREF, UC Endowment, Cal PERS, Bank of Ireland, etc.).
Pierre and his family relocated to Fresno in the late Nineties where he started two businesses: Compass Financial Group, a real estate finance firm that was later sold to a local investment firm, and also Millennium Multimedia, Inc in Irvine, a multimedia production studio (the studio produced over 100 commercials for Cash Call with Gary Coleman, all training videos for Paul Mitchell studios, promotional video brochure for Santa Luz Development in San Diego County, etc.)
Over the past 30 years, Pierre has been involved in most aspects of finance and investments, from assessing individual securities to large real estate projects, both as an analyst, a manager, and a business owner. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, California Real Estate Broker, and is a Licensed Mortgage Lender. He also holds a BA and MA in Applied Languages English/German from Université Jean Moulin, in Lyon, France.
